SITUATION

Wells Fargo Corporate wanted to honor their top employees with a special recognition dinner. I was brought in to design and manage the event and recommended that Wells Fargo expand the event to include an overnight at the W Hotel. Wells Fargo’s employees and their significant others left the event feeling valued and respected as a result of this one-night, one-day event.

Event Consultant/Event Manager

• Designed a gala and destination management weekend for Wells Fargo’s management, service, team and sales excellence and outstanding partner and 25-year anniversary award recipients.
• Developed event budget.
• Designed a fabulous invite packet with gala invite, hotel information and Seattle information for invitees.
• Coordinated a yearlong internal communications program to generate excitement for the awards and the actual event.
• Liaison with The W; negotiated event space and room rates; managed food, beverage, event décor.
• Secured event entertainment and MC for evening.
• Developed event video and script for evening.
• Produced night-of event program for all attendees.

RESULTS

One hundred percent attendance of invitees and top management. Highly successful and beautiful event on a very tight budget. Guests are still talking about how much fun and how privileged they felt by the event and the weekend.
