SITUATION
The National Philanthropy Day Committee (a part of the Association of Fundraising Professionals) wanted to improve the look and feel of the event, as well as attract sponsors who would contribute at a higher dollar level. This day is a very special day for community recipients who are leaders in the area of both community service and philanthropy. They wanted the branding, décor and food to truly represent the recipients.
Event Consultant
- Consulted on how to bring the event look and feel to the next level as the largest National Philanthropy Day event in North America.
- Consulted on sponsorship development and sales.
- Served on National Philanthropy Day Committee for over a year.
- Secured pro-bono web and marketing company to design the event’s branding, web and video/flash presentation piece. Served on development committee.
- Secured other pro-bono services for decorating the event.
RESULTS
A dramatic and compelling video/flash piece was developed for day-of presentation. A brand was also developed which won national recognition from other national non-profits who also host National Philanthropy Days. Visually enhanced the event day-of in florals, give-aways and table décor.
