SITUATION

The Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives in Seattle hired me to increase attendance, sponsorship and visibility, as well as making the event more impressive in location, décor, invites and gifts. This event has become an important event for women founding and building high-growth technology and life science companies.

  • Event consultant to create a unique, unforgettable celebration to honor H. Stewart Parker, President and CEO of Targeted Genetics Corporation.
  • Created a public relations campaign about the strength of women entrepreneurs in high and biotech.
  • Created custom invites and a custom hand-blown glass piece.
  • Generated in-kind services, which saved the organization over $50,000.00.
  • Developed event budget.
  • Consulted on securing event sponsors and assisted with sponsor relations.
  • Published night-of-event program with advertising, which generated a profit.

“In this high-tech world, filled with great expectations, Linda Browne Events keeps you in touch – literally and figuratively – with your guests, helping you build and maintain profitable, meaningful relationships with those that matter most.” - Sharelle Klaus, Past President, Forum for Women Entrepreneurs

RESULTS

Increased attendance by 100 guests, from 150 to 250. Moved the event from the Columbia Tower Club to the W Hotel. Public relations campaign generated publicity for the finalists, as well as several feature articles about the winner in PUGET SOUND BUSINESS JOURNAL, THE SEATTLE TIMES and SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER.
