SITUATION

One of the tent holders/sponsors of the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP wanted to thank his clients for their business. Tom Foley wanted a seven-day event to be elegant, understated and especially memorable. I was referred to him by another client of mine to create and manage this magnificent event.

Event Consultant and Manager

  • Designed a week-long event for a Seattle entrepreneur to entertain and thank his top 100 clients and their guests.
  • Managed a $500,000.00 budget.
  • Liaison with PGA Championship management.
  • Designed external/internal communications, including elegant custom invite, a stay-in-touch and gift program for guests and itineraries and agendas. Trained staff to ensure exceptional communications with clients before, during and after event.
  • Designed and managed seven special event dinners, including creation of a French café and dinners at the Columbia Tower Club and the Canlis. Chose all food, beverage, décor and entertainment.
  • Designed and managed event transportation including air, limos, boats, airport meet and greets and executive vans to and from Sahalee, golf at private clubs, spas, spouses’ events, a custom city tour and more.
  • Selected the hotel, negotiated prices and was liaison with hotel from start to finish of event.
  • Designed hospitality tent, managed hospitality at the event, including food and beverage, staffing, liaison with vendor and floral design.
